Paulo Cafe at 10 Milford Road is a neighborhood spot where locals seem to enjoy lingering over a good coffee and a varied brunch menu. This cafe leans into a comfortable, unpretentious atmosphere with soft background music that encourages relaxed conversations. It’s the kind of place suited for catching up with friends or enjoying a slow weekend morning away from the usual rush.

The coffee here holds its own, with consistent flat whites and lattes that feel carefully pulled, though busier times might see a slight dip in strength. Freshly squeezed smoothies add a nice touch for those looking for something fruit-forward and refreshing. The food selection is broad and thoughtfully crafted, from classic eggs benedict variations (including smoked salmon and mushrooms) to sweet treats like French toast, waffles, and a tempting lineup of baked goods in the display cabinet. These offerings cater well to a range of tastes, whether you’re after something savory or leaning towards a sweeter brunch.

Paulo Cafe’s clientele tends to be a little older, which shapes its calm and unhurried vibe—perfect if you want a break from the bustle. The mix of hearty options like chicken pide or a bacon club sandwich alongside lighter choices such as haloumi salad suggests it works equally for a filling breakfast or a midday bite. Locals often appreciate the visual appeal and freshness of each dish, highlighting how presentation adds to the experience without feeling fussy.

Visiting in the morning or early afternoon, especially on weekends, feels ideal. The day’s light filtering through and the steady hum of friendly service make it inviting for both solo visits and social gatherings. If you stop by, consider exploring the cabinet selection—not just for a quick snack, but to take home something special like their cherry pie, which is a favored takeaway among repeat visitors.

What a lovely surprise as the outside is so unassuming. Comfy atmosphere with gentle background music. The food is YUM!!. We had BLT and French Toast, hot chocolate and coffee. Beautiful presentation matched the great taste. The cabinet food looks devine, will need to come back for that.

This delightful cafe is a great place to connect with friends over coffee and/or food. It seems to attract an older clientele but this just adds to the charm. The cabinet is full and the staff are eager to please. Lots of food & beverage items are available to please your tastebuds and dietary requirements.

Absolutely delicious! Really crisp exterior to the Rosti with my eggs bene, the coffee was strong and smooth ... and I purchased two slabs of cherry pie to take home. The cherry pie was SO good, I am looking forward to bringing my mum here the next time I see her. The baked goods all look so good that my mouth started to actually water in anticipation.

First visit to Paulo for breakfast/brunch. It was a revelation. While the cabinet food looked very tempting, we went for menu options. The prices were reasonable, the meals, presentation and taste were 5/5. Great customer service, great atmosphere. Honestly a top experience.

Friendly staff. Meals were good and came out pretty quick considering how busy it was. The fresh watermelon juice was refreshing and the coffee very good. Maybe slightly pricier than some cafés but still within reason. You won't be disappointed. A solid 4 stars.
